"Decreers" means to announce, declare, or command with authority. In the context of the step team, "Decreers" symbolizes the act of making a bold statement about one's own power, worth, and leadership.
Royal Decreers "Basketball"
The Royal Decreers Basketball Team is a competitive program dedicated to fostering excellence and teamwork among young athletes for ages age 8-9 juniors and 12-13 varsity. Designed to develop both individual skills and collective performance, this team emphasizes rigorous training, disciplined practice, and sportsmanship on and off the court.
Each team member will become officially registered, ensuring that all participants meet AAU standards and remain eligible for local and national competitions. This registration not only streamlines our participation process but also reinforces our commitment to providing a structured and professional athletic environment.
Join us as we build a legacy of skill, leadership, and community through the dynamic sport of basketball.
The Royal Decreers Step Team
-“Empowering Confidence Through Step.”
The Royal Decreers Step Team focus on the art of stepping for ages 8- 17. Through this program, youth are encouraged to express themselves creatively while building teamwork, discipline, and self-confidence.

Athletics Club Dues
Monthly and Annual Dues Information:
To support your participation in The Empowered Lounge Foundation's programs, we have established a dues structure as follows:

Monthly Dues: $35.00, due on the 15th of each month

Annual Dues: $400.00, payable upfront for the entire year (please see coach for this option)
All dues are to be paid directly through our website at www.empoweredloungefoundation.org.
If alternative payment arrangements are needed, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us. We are happy to work with you to ensure your continued involvement.

Registration for youth to join opens February 10th, 2025

Tryouts are March 22, 2025 are 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at Virginia Beach Public Library. All parents must bring identification for youth and must present a valid I.D.
